Meeting Payments

Costs for the meeting are organized as follows. Due dates for different payments vary, but registration fees for presenters are due no later than February 1, 2017, and for general attendees by April 1, 2017 on a space-available basis. If you have questions, please contact syngbio2017@ut.edu.  Payment available online via credit card. (For payment via cash, check, or wire transfer, or via invoice through a University or Organization, please contact us through the email address above to arrange, by emailing us a screen shot of your shopping cart). Full refunds are possible up to February 15th (minus a 10% processing fee).

Housing Fees - We have secured on-campus dormitory housing for participants ($56 USD inclusive per night per person, double room occupancy). The dormitory selected has in-room sinks and mirrors and shared restroom/shower facilities. If you select the double room option, please indicate the name of your preferred roommate, or one of the same gender will be assigned to you.

Field Trips - Field trip fees vary based on associated excursion.  Estimated costs will be no more than $40 per trip. Space is limited for each one, so please sign up ASAP.  Payment will be collected at the meeting in May.

Registration Fees

Registration fees vary based on the timing of registration. Registration includes meeting fees, presentations, workshops, AM and PM refreshments, breakfast (M-Th) and lunch (M,T,Th), program booklet and associated swag, and opening night and poster session refreshments. On or before 1 Dec 2016, registration will be $325 USD for both presenters and general attendees. For presenters (both oral and poster), registration will be $400 USD between 2 Dec 2016 and 15 Jan 2017. For general attendees, registration will be $400 between 2 Dec 2016 and 1 Apr 2017 on a space available basis. Come join us on the Florida Aquarium's party boat to celebrate the end of the meeting with colleagues and friends!  Limit of 150 people on board, so sign up soon! Housing fees - On campus

To select a room, identify the type of housing (Double or Single) and the number of days from the drop down menu. If you select the double room option, please indicate the name of your preferred roommate, or one of the same gender will be assigned to you. If you request a single room, please enter "NONE" when prompted for the name of roommate. 

Payments for housing are NOT due at the time of registration, but is available for convenience. Payments for housing can be made directly to the conference venue upon registration the first night of the conference as well.
